Our Vision

To inspire an inclusive community based in equality and parity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, and two-spirit (LGBTQQI) communities of Monroe County.

The PRIDE in the Poconos is fostering a welcoming environment for the LGBTQQI communities living and working in Monroe County through an interdisciplinary and inclusive approach. We are made up of individuals who are concerned about the well-being of the LGBTQQI communities in Monroe County. PRIDE in the Poconos is led The Pocono LGBTQ Business Council collaborates with the Novus Adult Care Services to promote this PRIDE Initiative.

PRIDE in the Poconos Celebration is an opportunity to champion inclusion and wellness for the LGBTQAI+ community and allies in Monroe County. This fun day in the heart of Stroudsburg has music, live entertainment, crafts, children’s activities, a teen space, food trucks, and more! Local drag Queens and DJ XXXXX will provide all-day entertainment. Resource tables will provide tools and information for staying well. Come celebrate our community’s effort to build a connected, supportive, and well Poconos for all!
